My God, My Hope

The tears keep dropping

The last word spoken

The time constantly ticking

The rain still pouring

The pain unceasingly throbbing

The wounds continuously bleeding

The mistakes incessantly haunting

The past continually replaying

Down and barely breathing

All hope is lost

But then God keeps on Loving

And the cross keeps on Forgiving

There is still Hope!

Yes! there is Hope!

  1. Greetings from Poets United. I am glad that you want to join the poetry community and have your name added to the blogroll. In order to do this, you should participate in the prompts for a time or two. You can check back to Thursday’s “timeworn” prompt or wait until tomorrow when the “poetry pantry” (open link) goes up. Link a poem of yours, and pay visits to some of the other poets, who hopefully will return your visits. If I see you participating for a bit, I will definitely add your blog to the blogroll. Good luck to you, and nice meeting you.

  2. I needed to read this today. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this.
